Sachem Central School District · K–12
Backing the performing arts in every Sachem building.
Sachem BEAT is a parent-run booster club supporting performing arts students across the Sachem Central School District — band, chorus, orchestra, and theater. Not one school. All of them.
We raise money for the things a school budget does not stretch to cover: competition entry and travel, instruments and equipment, festival fees, and the requests that come up mid-year from the directors who know what their students need.

What your support pays for
Every dollar stays with Sachem performing arts students.
Competitions and travel
Entry fees, buses, and the costs of getting students to field shows and festivals off Long Island.
Instruments and equipment
Repairs, replacements, and the large or specialized pieces a single building cannot justify on its own.
NYSSMA and SCMEA fees
Festival and adjudication fees, so that cost is never the reason a student does not audition.
Building-level requests
The mid-year asks that come directly from directors — sheet music, risers, a repair before a concert.
New to a Sachem building?
If your student just joined a band, chorus, orchestra, or theater program, you are already part of this. There is no membership fee and no obligation — come to a meeting, work a concession stand, or just read the calendar so you know when the bus leaves.
